Debuted for just a short two months period, China-Korea collaborated all-Chinese male group M4M has attracted attention both in Korea and China with their debut song ‘Sadness’, as the number of fans increases at a quick pace.
Recently in Asia idol industry, many idols are formed with different nationalities. Although M4M members were trained in Korea, all four members are actually of Chinese blood. Their first mini album ‘Mystic Formula’ included Korean version of ‘Sadness’ as well as five additional tracks. The album received praises for its exceptional composing and melody, as well as Chinese lyrics added to a KPOP-styled song.
It was reported that the only slow song in the album, ‘When You Leave Me’ (direct translation from ‘当你离开我’) has received recognition from the industry. And because of that, M4M agency XingTian Entertainment will be adding a budget to shoot for a new MV for this song. The MV shoot will still be undertaken by Cube Entertainment in Korea. According to a source, the female lead for this MV will be a member of Cube’s popular girl group 4minute. However, no further details on that particular 4minute member were disclosed. The agency intends to embark on a mysterious route, where everything is kept secret for the time being. That said, they hope that fans will anticipate the upcoming MV!
Group BTOB has successfully completed their Cambodia promotions with a fan meet event and volunteer works.
Starting from 19th of May, BTOB stayed 3 days 2 night in Cambodia and held their first fan meet at Koh Pich Theater, and subsequently carried out various more promotional activities in the country.
Previously, BTOB promoted in Thailand, where they held fan meeting, and tickets were quickly sold out, as well as attending various broadcast programs, proving the Hallyu power as they managed to attract many local media’s attention. Following after Thailand’s promotions, BTOB’s fan meet in Cambodia further attracted an exceptional figure of over 1000 fans, proving their popularity in South East Asia.
BTOB’s first Cambodia fan meeting was titled ‘BTOB Press Play in Cambodia’, where 50 local media outlets attended. That night, the boys had put on a string of performance stages for 1000 fans. BTOB’s cute aegyo and wittiness have brought great memories to fans in Cambodia.
This fan meeting has captured attention as there were many male fans among the audience. Fans performing K-POP dance covers are growing more and more recently. As BTOB’s songs are made up of many powerful dance moves, male fans among local Cambodian fans seemed to be more in number, as analysed by local entertainment officials.
Also, BTOB left unforgettable memories as they visited a welfare institution nearby Phnom Penh. BTOB serenaded with their songs to over 100 young children living in the institution, as well as sharing out snacks, spending a warm time with them. In addition, BTOB painted the institution despite the hot weather, bringing about a deeper meaning to their various promotions in Cambodia.
BTOB’s leader Seo Eunkwang expressed his thoughts, “This is our first visit to Cambodia. Having to hold a fan meeting and spending time with the young children are really meaningful to us, so we’re very happy about it. Seeing them smiling with bright faces when we sang somehow healed us as well. I hope that we can do this for a longer period next time.”
BTOB will soon leave for a concert in Malaysia on the 23rd May
Group BEAST are chosen to be models for BIS FOOD’s vitamin water ‘V2O’.
BIS FOOD has revealed that BEAST will be their exclusive models on the 15th of May.
V2O representative expressed, “BEAST’s unique image and their different charms apart from V2O seems to create a synergy effect, therefore we have decided to choose BEAST as models.”
V2O special package that embeds the 6 personality of BEAST will be revealed in early June. Also, a string of promotions such as events and contests are in preparations.

Doojoon left fans swooning over his charisma, fitting for the leader of a group named B2ST. He tilts his head for the camera and shows off his flawless side profile, while looking chic and casual in button-up shirts.
The idol also hinted at B2ST’s comeback, sharing, “We toned things down a bit this time. B2ST is also a team that wants to do more mature music.” It was also revealed that B2ST are currently in the middle of recording their new album.

Group BTOB have successfully held their first ever fan meeting in Thailand.
On the 18th May, BTOB had held a fan meeting in Scala Theater, Bangkok that titles ‘BTOB Press Play in Thailand’, meeting up with over 1000 fans for two hours. 5 minutes after the ticketing for this fan meeting starts, all seats were sold out.
BTOB performed debut song ‘Insane’, ‘WOW’, ‘Irresistible Lips’, ‘My Girl’ and more. In particular, they have also performed a popular local song ‘Stop’, as a present to repay fans’ love.
It has been BTOB’s third visit to Thailand. Since their arrival on 17th May, BTOB has attended popular broadcast program, press conference, photoshoot, fan signs and many more local promotions.
On the 18th, BTOB have attended popular local music program ‘Channel 7 Live Music Show’ and met up with about 100 media outlets through a press conference.
Soon, BTOB will be going to Cambodia for a fan meeting and various more promotions.
Hyuna has shed tears after it was announced that 4minute’s new song has charted first.
Hyuna reunited with 4minute members on the 16th. Together, they had put on a performance and won first on MCountdown.
4minute expressed their winning thoughts, “There are many who worked hard for this. We’re really happy for being able to receive award for 2 weeks straight. We want to share this news with all our company colleagues,” and, “In particular, this award is even more meaningful with Hyuna’s comeback.”

Group BTOB will be holding fan meetings in Thailand and Cambodia as a part of their promotions.
BTOB will leave Korea for Thailand on the 16th afternoon and promote for a total of 6 days 5 nights. On the following day, BTOB will kick start their promotions in Thailand by appearing on a famous local music broadcast station as well as a few variety programs.
In particular, the boys will be holding their first fan meeting, titled “BTOB Press Play Party in Thailand”, in Scala Theatre to meet up with about a thousand of fans.
The ticketing opened last April had sold out 1000 tickets within 5 minutes, proving their popularity in Thailand.

B2ST‘s Junhyung, BTOB, and Ha Yeon Soo have collaborated to reveal a special song for the viewers of their upcoming drama ‘Monstar‘!
Junhyung and BTOB’s Minhyuk, Sungjae, Changsub, and Hyunsik who star as members of the idol group ‘Men In Black’ in the drama, and Ha Yeon Soo who plays Min Sae Yi. will lend their voices for the song “Past Days”. This will actually be a remake of Yoo Jae Ha‘s original song, and will be a fresh modern take as a dance track.
“Past Days” will be the opening song for the premiere of ‘Monstar’ on the 17th and the track will be released on the same day!
BEAST member Yong JunHyung has expressed his thoughts on working with junior group BTOB which is of the same company.
During a press conference for MONSTAR, Yong JunHyung revealed, “In the drama, I and BTOB members act as popular idol group ‘Man In Black’. We were of the same company but we don’t meet each other often. I thought a lot, ‘What to do if these friends give me a hard time’, and worried very much about it.”
Yong JunHyung continued, “Unlike my concerns, during the shoot for our jacket picture, we matched each other well. BTOB members are younger than me but because I was with them, it seems that I looked younger as well”, he expressed, causing laughter on the press conference today.
He has also expressed that he felt burdensome on his first drama. “I feel stressful with my first debut in a drama. There were many worries as well. Director-nim hopes that I could act a Yoon SeolChan that loves music and knows about music,” he said.
He continued, “In order to act as Yoon SeolChan, I am practicing very hard to present that delicate act” and, “I’m working hard not to lie to the audience, but to make a real situation of it”, he added.
Also, he revealed, “Since debut, I’ve always wanted to act, but saying that I want to act doesn’t mean that I could act. I think that I have to be given a chance only then I can do so. I feel good since a good opportunity came”, he expressed.
Meanwhile, the drama will be aired on the coming 17th of May.

Yong JunHyung has expressed his confidence for ‘MONSTAR’.
Challenging in his first drama act, Yong JunHyung and Ha YeonSu have attracted attention after being chosen as the main leads for the drama. Without any experience in acting, Yong JunHyung expressed that he was indeed burdensome at first, “I was scared. I worried and the burden was really big”, he honestly revealed.
Yong JunHyung continued, “When director-nim proposed to me, I asked him instead, ‘What do you see in me?’ and he said that he wanted someone who loves and knows about music for Yoon SeolChan’s character” and, “We have shot for about 2 months, and director-nim helped out a lot. I couldn’t say there’s a steady progress yet but I’ll show a better look as time goes. For now, my confidence level is much more than my burden thoughts”, he revealed.
During the press conference today, regarding on his first cooperation with Ha YeonSu, Yong JunHyung expressed, “I could feel Ha YeonSu’s mysterious existence.” He continued, “My first impression for Ha YeonSu was that she’s really distant. She was that type that doesn’t talk much, and so it was hard to approach her”. “Therefore, I was close with Kang Haneul first. I tried to figure out ways on how to approach Ha YeonSu under this friendly atmosphere. It was hard for me to do so, but she has a good and cheerful personality,” revealing their friendship.
